Due to COVID-19, our Louisiana Life March events have been replaced for 2021 by the “Stand for Life Louisiana!” events on Saturday January 23rd. We apologize for this inconvenience, but know we will still stand for life together in 2021!
COVID-19 and the Louisiana Life March Events
Due to COVID-19, state and local officials are requiring that our Life March events adhere strictly to social distancing and mask requirements. We have consulted with the State Fire Marshal on these guidelines and are working with local officials in all locations to ensure necessary precautions are in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through our events.
- Individuals of the same household can march together, but otherwise, participants must spread out, whether before the march begins, during the march, or at the conclusion of the march where groups congregate for Life March rallies.
- We will not have a limitation on the size of the march, as long as participants remain socially distanced at all times.
- There may be limitations on crowd size in some outdoor venues associated with the Life March rallies, most specifically, Festival Plaza at the conclusion of the Shreveport Life March. We apologize if all participants are not able to be included in these portions of the events.
- Masks are required at all events and will be available on site to participants.
Life March Northeast is sponsored by Louisiana Right to Life, Louisiana Baptist Convention, Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home, Louisiana Conference of Catholic Bishops, United Pentecostal Church of Louisiana, Louisiana Family Forum, the Knights of Columbus, and Louisiana’s Concerned Women for America
Unite the pro-life people of Louisiana, across all denominational lines, to take a stand for life in our state’s capital city, and mobilize them with resources to go make a difference in their community. We believe the Louisiana Life March can lead toward an abortion-free Louisiana.
