Overview of the day Between 9AM and 3PM:
** It is best that you contact your state legislator or their office in advance of Pro-Life Day at the Capitol to set up a meeting with them during the day. We will not be able to introduce every person to every legislator! You can click here to find out who your legislators are, and then use the list of Senators and Representatives at these links respectively to contact them directly.
8:30 AM:
Meet in the Capitol Rotunda at this time to get the overview of the day’s activities and recommended talking points with legislators prior to the Administration of Criminal Justice Committee that will begin at 9 AM. We will be sending people to the Criminal Justice Committee in waves as people arrive to get seats – it will likely be crowded.
8:45 AM:
Arrive at House Committee Room 6 for the House Administration of Criminal Justice Committee meeting. The committee will consider five bills that have an impact on abortion. Please arrive on time as space will be limited!
9 AM:
In House Committee Room 6, the House Administration of Criminal Justice Committee meeting will begin. There are 8 bills on the committee schedule, and 5 of them are abortion related. While the committee schedule is available at this link, they do not always follow the printed schedule, and there is no way to determine when the committee hearing will conclude.
* 11:30AM – 1:00 PM:
