Every day, women facing unexpected pregnancies carry a heavy burden of fear and uncertainty. Many feel intense pressure from outside circumstances, most often financial, that can convince them abortion is their only option. In fact, studies show that up to 70% of women who have abortions report feeling pressured or coerced.
For many moms, the crisis comes down to something as simple as a few hundred dollars. A car repair, overdue rent, or tuition bill can become the deciding factor between choosing life and choosing abortion. While abortion facilities are closed here in Louisiana, abortion pills by mail remain a tragic and dangerous alternative that women are turning to in desperation.
This is where you can make the difference. The Emergency Assistance to Moms Initiative was created to meet these urgent needs with real, life-saving help. Through our network of advocates and pregnancy resource centers, we step in quickly to provide direct financial support on behalf of mothers, whether it’s paying a landlord, utility company, school, or auto shop. By removing these practical obstacles, we empower moms to embrace life for their child.
Your generosity provides more than financial relief. It gives hope, dignity, and the chance for a mother to believe she is not alone. With your help, we can ensure that no woman ever feels forced into abortion because of money.
Please consider making a gift today to the Emergency Assistance Grant for Moms. Together, we can meet these women in their moment of crisis and help them choose life.
Emergency Assistance Grants may include support for:
Housing Assistance (e.g., rent or emergency lodging)
Vehicle Payments or Repairs
Tuition or Education-Related Expenses
Medical Expenses
Utility Payments
Grocery Assistance (provided through local pregnancy centers to ensure proper use)
How It Works:
Pregnancy centers, submit grant applications on behalf of their clients. This model ensures that each applicant is already in a supportive relationship with someone who understands her unique situation and can help ensure resources are used wisely and compassionately.
Our goal is simple: to remove the financial pressures that lead women to believe they have no choice. By offering tangible, life-giving assistance, we stand beside mothers in crisis so they can stand for life.
