Abortion Industry

Women do not need abortion! The abortion industry in Louisiana and across the country tells women they need abortion to be successful, independent and powerful when the truth is abortion only hurts them and brings pain to their families. In fact, studies show that the majority of women (64%) who have abortions do so because a partner or family member coerces them into ending the life of their unborn child.

This reality, combined with the abortion industry’s profit driven goals, pushes women toward abortion before they get the opportunity to examine all their options. Abortion in America is big money for all involved. Here’s a breakdown of the cost of an abortion from the Guttmacher Institute:

In the subtopics section, you will find out more information about America’s abortion giant, Planned Parenthood, and our efforts to defeat them in Louisiana. Below are a few recent examples of the abortion industry’s financial interest in abortion and what it has led to:

Gosnell’s Abortion Facility

In 2013, Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell was found guilty of murder of three infants who were born alive following late-term abortions. His “House of Horrors” was a place where minority women were maimed and their babies were butchered. His facility was filled with bloody furniture, outdated equipment, and the body parts of babies that he slaughtered. However, he made a fortune on his abortion enterprise. “As The Huffington Post reported, “For Gosnell, an abortion of a six-week fetus cost $330. Late-term was about $1,625. The principle “Do no harm” meant less and less with each death (abortionists call it termination). Given the return on investment, gestational age became less significant. Gosnell raked in $1.8 million a year in cash working three nights a week, 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., the grand jury estimated.”

Center for Medical Progress:

In the summer of 2015, five videos were released by The Center for Medical Progress showing Planned Parenthood’s top executives haggling over the price of aborted babies’ body parts, admitting to altering abortion procedures to procure salable organs for harvesting and casually discussing ways their doctors can “crush” unborn babies to obtain fully intact parts. Shockingly, one Planned Parenthood director even jokes about using the money she receives from selling aborted babies to buy a Lamborghini. The first video, which you can watch below, received over three million views on YouTube.

Then, in a sixth video, former phlebotomist Holly O’Donnell explains how Planned Parenthood worked with Stem Express, the organ harvesting company that bought the fetal “tissue” from Planned Parenthood, to procure body parts and pressured patients into “donating” their aborted babies to research. O’Donnell also said that sometimes the abortion company’s employees harvested aborted babies’ organs without their patients consent.
