Did you know that 52% of the women who have abortions are between the ages of 18-24? This is why it is so important that we, as young people, be an active and supportive pro-life presence on our campuses.

The PULSE Pro-life Youth Initiative is a multi-faceted initiative to train the students of Louisiana to be pro-life agents of change in their communities. The initiative includes PULSE retreats (high school & college-aged students), pro-life presentations, local PULSE teams, pro-life school club support & resources, and more!

PULSE

The flagship beat of the initiative is the PULSE Immersion Day Retreats, a series of Saturday programs training high school and college students to stand for the culture of life as courageous pro-life leaders. The PULSE Leadership Institute (PLI) is an intensive week-long camp designed to equip high school and college students to be the pro-life leaders of today. PLI is held each summer in Baton Rouge. PULSE Crash Courses are trainings offered to schools or groups that introduce students to pro-life topics such as pro-life persuasion.

PULSE Teams

There are also local pro-life leader groups – or PULSE teams – in several areas of the state. Pulse teams are an opportunity for students to get involved with pro-life education, activism, and service with others in their specific communities. These groups meet throughout the year and plan events to unite the pro-life students in their communities.

Geaux Forth

Geaux Forth is the annual Louisiana rally in D.C. in conjunction with the National March for Life. Louisiana students, parents, and teachers gather together for some basic pro-life 101 education, an inspiring testimony, live music, and national pro-life vendors.

Presentations

LARTL youth programs team is excited to offer free, interactive, and age-appropriate presentations to youth in schools, churches, small groups, and more!

Club Resources

LARTL YP Team are also available to support students with activism, education, or service projects within their school pro-life organizations.

Oratory Contest

The contest gives students the opportunity to express the truth about abortion and other pro-life topics through the art of speech.
