As a part of our educational role in the state of Louisiana, we are dedicated to informing the voters of Louisiana on where candidates and incumbents stand on life issues. We encourage you to vote pro-life whenever you to go the polls!
On March 20, 2021, Louisiana voters residing in the 2nd and 5th congressional districts will select lawmakers to represent the interests of our state in the United States House of Representatives. Additionally, residents across 20 parishes will have the opportunity to vote on district level seats for judges, a state representative, and a member of the Board of Secondary and Elementary Education. There may also be local races up for election in your community.
Early voting is March 6-13 (excluding Sunday, March 7) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Louisiana Right to Life is informing voters on where candidates stand on life in the races for the 2nd and 5th Congressional districts and the House District 82 Special Election. Click the links below for our review.
Outside of the state legislature, Louisiana Right to Life does not customarily evaluate local candidates (school board, parish council, etc) or those for statewide offices that do not impact life issues (Insurance Commissioner, etc). Also, judges typically do not answer questionnaires due to a previous State Supreme Court opinion. But you are free to contact all these candidates and ask their stance on life!
