On February 15th, 2025, there are two special elections to fill two State Senate seats.


State Senate Election – District 14 (Baton Rouge Area)

The following is an overview of the candidates for District 14:


State Senate Election – District 23 (Lafayette Area)

In the Election for State Senate District 23, Louisiana Right to Life Action has endorsed Rep. Brach Myers (R).

Rep. Myers has a 100% Pro-Life Voting Record as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives and has answered our Louisiana Right to Life Questionnaire 100% Pro-Life. Rep. Myers voted pro-life on all six votes scored by Louisiana Right to Life during the 2024 Legislative Session. Louisiana Right to Life is grateful to Rep. Myers for his pro-life commitment shown through his 100% Pro-Life Voting Record and his 100% Pro-Life Questionnaire Response.

When considering endorsing a candidate for office, Louisiana Right to Life Action prioritizes a candidate with a 100% pro-life voting record.

Jesse Regan (R), also a candidate for District 23, answered our Louisiana Right to Life Questionnaire 100% Pro-Life.  Louisiana Right to Life appreciates Mr. Regan’s 100% pro-life commitment both as a candidate and through his response to our questionnaire.
