The 2020 Legislative Session was altered and shortened due to Covid-19, and therefore, many of Louisiana Right to Life’s Legislative Priorities were not addressed. However, the following pieces of legislation did pass and were supported by Louisiana Right to Life.
- HB 361: Provides relative to supported decision making agreements as a less restrictive means to interdiction. This legislation enables disabled persons to live with more independence if so chosen. Read the Legislation.
- HB 328: Allows local municipalities to authorize exemption from local sales taxes for diaper purchases and other items.
