The 2026 Youth Leadership Summit will be held on both Tuesday September 15th and Wednesday September 16th, giving schools or homeschool families an option of which day to attend. The content of each day will be very similar, so we recommend only attending one of the two days. You can register below!
Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry, together with Louisiana Right to Life, are inviting high school and college pro-life leaders to unite at the Old State Capitol for the first-ever Louisiana Pro-Life Youth Leadership Summit!
For Catholic schools, please know the event is supported by the Louisiana Conference of Catholic Bishops. We encourage you to send students with a faculty advisor or parent!
The Louisiana Pro-Life Youth Leadership Summit is a high-impact day designed to equip and empower the “Now Generation.”
Students, you’re not just the future, you’re the voice of right now!
At the Pro-Life Youth Leadership Summit, you will…
- Engage with state leaders.
- Step into your role as a leader in your community.
- Strengthen your ability to confidently speak up for life.
- Collaborate with other students to advocate for unborn babies, mothers, and the vulnerable.
The Summit is open to high school & college students. There is NO cost to attend, but advance registration is required. Chaperones are welcome to attend as well. Lunch is provided at no charge.
Dress code: Respectful and modest “business casual” or “Sunday best” attire. If a school would prefer that their students wear their uniform, that is fine as well.

Dear Students, School & Church Leaders, and Parents,
It is our honor to partner with our friends at Louisiana Right to Life to invite high school and college students from across our state to attend the Second Annual Louisiana Pro-Life Youth Leadership Summit on either Tuesday September 15th or Wednesday September 16th, 2026, at the Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge. I was thrilled last year to join such a wonderful group of student leaders, and I look forward to meeting new students in 2026!
Louisiana has long been a national leader in defending life. We are proud to serve alongside fellow legislators who are committed to protecting the unborn and supporting mothers. It is our hope that Louisiana will carry the banner for life long into the future.
Too often, we hear that the youth are the future of our community.
When it comes to the pro-life movement, we believe the youth are the leaders of today. Your courage, your compassion, and your leadership can save lives and bring hope to those who need it most.
The Louisiana Pro-Life Youth Leadership Summit is a unique opportunity to equip you to be a pro-life leader in your school or community. You will gain valuable knowledge, sharpen your leadership skills, and connect with other student leaders.
To teachers and school administrators, we encourage you to support your student leaders by giving them the opportunity to attend. Whether they are involved in pro-life clubs, ministry, or civics programs, this summit will further build these students into leaders for your school. Churches and homeschool families are also encouraged to send young leaders.
