At the Pro-Life Summit in Baton Rouge, Black Advocates for Life hosted a diaper drive giveaway and provided supplies to nearly 200 moms in need!

Tara Wicker, the Black Advocates for Life Director, told WBRZ that “families need to know ‘Hey you’re not alone.’ You’re surrounded by a support system that loves you, that values your life, that values the life of your baby. We’re not just with you with words.”

This impactful initiative was designed to provide tangible support to families in need across the Baton Rouge area. Registered participants received critical baby care items, including diapers, wipes, and infant formula.

In total, nearly 200 moms received baby supplies and heard our pro-life message. The pro-life movement in Louisiana works to both protect unborn life and aid women in need through outreach initiatives like our regular diaper drives and giveaways.
