We asked pro-life volunteers, advocates and everyday people, what does the public need to know about the pro-life movement?
Here’s what they said:
“I would say just the general education of how an abortion procedure is performed. That is the one thing I have seen changed the most minds about abortion access. Also, what happens to a woman and the baby when she takes the chemical abortion pill. It’s not technically considered a procedure, but still an abortion and it is brutal.” Abby Rose Bradshaw
“That we do not value the child over the mother but recognize that all life deserves dignity.” -Pro-Life Advocate
“I think, maybe, about the harm done to women by abortion pills and how it may seem to be an easy, private solution to a problem, but actually isn’t. And perhaps, countering the prevalent narrative in the media that pregnant women with emergencies or non-viable pregnancies won’t be able to get the care they need because of LA’s new laws defending unborn life.” – Pro-Life Volunteer
“That the baby can feel pain in the womb.” Maria Hubbell
“I would say the true societal injustice that abortion is. In order for us to truly build a culture of life we must first bring value back to all humans; including the unborn. When society sees all human life as valuable, then we can be united in moving forward positively for change!” Hannah Guilliam, Youth Program Director
