With President Trump’s signature on the Big Beautiful Bill, Planned Parenthood is DEFUNDED! While the bill technically stops the funding for one year, we believe that this will be the end of Planned Parenthood funding in Louisiana thanks to the Supreme Court case that was handed down last week.

Over the past five years alone, Planned Parenthood in Louisiana has received over $5 million in Medicaid tax dollars. No longer will the abortion giant be subsidized with our tax dollars here!

Louisiana’s own Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, and Majority Leader, Steve Scalise, were personally dedicated to ensuring that Planned Parenthood would be defunded in the reconciliation bill. We are extremely grateful for their pro-life leadership!

Of course, Planned Parenthood is going to claim that women will no longer be able to get healthcare in Louisiana. That is bogus! There are many affordable healthcare options for women across Louisiana.
