This past week, from Wednesday through Friday, our team had the privilege of connecting with Catholic priests across the Archdiocese of New Orleans. These encounters were more than meetings; they were opportunities to equip spiritual leaders with tools, resources, and initiatives that can bring the pro-life message to life in their parishes.
One of the most powerful tools we highlighted was FindHelpLa.com, a resource that allows parish leaders to directly connect women facing crisis pregnancies with practical support. Whether it is medical care, counseling, or material needs, this initiative ensures that no mother feels alone, and that every unborn child is given the chance at life that God intends.
We also shared our Banners for Babies initiative, which features thought-provoking questions displayed on striking eight-foot banners. These banners show the humanity of the unborn while also pointing women toward life-affirming resources. They are a powerful way for parishes to witness publicly to the dignity of life and extend compassion to mothers in need.
Another initiative we introduced was our Pro-Life Candle Fundraiser, designed to inspire prayer and reflection within parish communities. These candles encourage parishioners to pray for the unborn and their mothers, drawing on the mystery of Christ’s birth and the inspiring witness of pro-life saints. Beyond prayer, this initiative also raises money to support parish ministries and the broader pro-life mission in New Orleans.
To further strengthen parish outreach, we connected priests with our network of free pro-life speakers. These speakers are available to cover a range of important topics, including:
Pro-life persuasion
Abortion and fetal development
Post-abortion healing and testimonies
Youth-focused pro-life presentations
Post-Roe priorities for the movement
Medical ethics and concerns for the elderly
This resource empowers parishes to engage their communities with truth and compassion, ensuring that the pro-life message is taught with clarity and conviction.
Perhaps most inspiring of all was the chance to be surrounded by so many priests who share a deep passion for defending life. Their commitment to proclaiming the dignity of every human being, created in God’s image, fills us with renewed hope and determination. Together, we are building a culture that protects mothers, cherishes children, and honors the Creator who gives life.
