Our 2022 Proudly Pro-Life Gala, Presented by Kurt and Susan Crosby, will be held at 7 p.m. on Jan. 15, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. We missed seeing you at our 2021 Gala, but we were so grateful for the outpouring of support we received for our virtual event at WLAE. We look forward to coming back together in 2022 and celebrating life and the gift of adoption at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans!
Since 1970, Louisiana and New Orleans Right to Life have worked through education, legislation, activism, and service to restore the right to life in Louisiana by opposing abortion, euthanasia, and other life destroying actions. Our statewide efforts have results in generations of lives saved and Louisiana becoming the most pro-life state in America. With your help, we have consistently educated and built up the culture of life, empowering young people with the truth about life issues.
Our 2022 Proudly Pro-Life Honoree will be State Senator Katrina Jackson, a courageous leader for life in Louisiana and throughout the U.S.

Louisiana State Senator Katrina Jackson (D-Monroe), is the 2022 Proudly Pro-Life Award recipient. Senator Jackson is a strong pro-life advocate both in the State Capitol and around the United States and has worked closely with Louisiana Right to Life for many years.
Before being elected to the Senate, she was a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from 2012-20. During her time in the House she fought side by side with Louisiana Right to Life on several bills, including the 2014 Unsafe Abortion Protection Act, which passed both Houses overwhelmingly but was tied up in federal court before finally reaching the U.S. Supreme Court in 2019. The Court ruled against the constitutionality of the Louisiana law in 2020. Jackson was author of that bill.
In 2019 then Rep. Jackson authored another bill that would become the Love Life Constitutional Amendment, which was put on the Louisiana ballot in 2020. This amendment to the Louisiana Constitution received more votes than any candidate or ballot measure in Louisiana history, and Sen. Jackson was a huge part of its success. Not only did she author the bill and see that it was placed on the ballot, she promoted it throughout the state prior to the election.
The Kendrick brothers, Alex and Stephen, are award-winning American filmmakers of movies such as Fireproof, Overcomer, War Room, and Courageous.
