Congrats, if you are 12 weeks pregnant you have entered the second trimester of pregnancy! At this stage of fetal development, your baby’s vocal chords are complete, and your child can and does sometimes cry (silently)!
What an awesome baby you have! The fetus has urinated and has even begun to practice breathing with his or her own lungs. Your baby’s intestines have also moved into the the abdomen. Although you may feel overwhelmed, you will be a great mom!
