Sanctity of Human Life Sunday

January 17, 2021

On Jan. 22, 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated the third Sunday of January as National Sanctity of Human Life Day. Churches and pastors utilize this day to raise awareness about what the Bible teaches about the sacred gift of human life, how life is under attack, and what the church can do protect the sanctity of life.

Louisiana Right to Life encourages your church to participate in Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. We have provided resources on this site to make your observance of SOHLS even more special. Please take advantage of these materials, especially by requesting and distributing our free SOHLS Cards, shown below.

“Before I was born the Lord called me; from my mother’s womb He has spoken my name.”  – Isaiah 49:1

The sanctity of human life in Louisiana is in grave danger. All in the name of profit, abortion facilities right here in our state extinguish the lives of thousands of unborn babies each year. But we know the truth of God’s love, and together, we can take a stand for all life, from conception until natural death!

If you’d like to make a donation to help offset the printing and shipping cost of bulletin insert cards, please click here.

UPDATE:  We have a small number of caucasian baby cards available, but it is too late to put them in the mail mail in order to receive for Sunday, Jan. 17. Cards may be picked up at the Louisiana Right to Life headquarters, 200 Robert E. Lee Blvd., New Orleans, by Friday. Please call Sandy at 985-966-4175 if you’d like to pick up any cards.
