New Orleans – Louisiana Right to Life is hosting the 2024 Proudly Pro-Life Gala in the Great Hall of the New Orleans Convention Center tomorrow, Saturday, January 13th, at 7PM. It is anticipated that over 1400 people will be in attendance.

Our keynote speaker is the star of Sound of Freedom and The Passion of the Christ, Jim Caviezel. In attendance will be Attorney General Liz Murrill, Secretary of State Nancy Landry, and over 20 state legislators. The Honorary Chair for the event is Majority Leader of the U.S House of Representatives, Steve Scalise, but he is unable to attend for health reasons.

Benjamin Clapper, Executive Director of Louisiana Right to Life, said the following about the Gala: “Our night will be a wonderful celebration of the many pro-life victories we have witnessed in Louisiana, including the babies who are alive today because of our pro-life laws. It is also a chance for us, together with our generous supporters, to prepare for our 2024 efforts to protect life and help moms. We are thrilled that Jim Caviezel is joining us to share his pro-life story and heart for adoption. In 2019, Caviezel said, ‘I don’t see abortion as helping women, and I don’t love my career that much to say, ‘I’m going to remain silent on this.’” Caviezel and his wife are the adoptive parents of three children.
