In her new position, Alex will focus on a combination of medical ethics education, grassroots organizing, chapter development, legislative affairs and collegiate education, among other projects. She will also continue helping with some youth programs in her new position.

As Youth Programs Co-Director, Mia will work directly with Krista Corbello in all youth education programs, including presentations, PULSE Immersion Weekends, PULSE Leadership Institute, PULSE Team activities and the Geaux Forth Rally in Washington, D.C. in conjunction with the March for Life.

Mia graduated from LSU in December 2018 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. While at LSU she served two years as the Legislative Liaison for Pro-Life LSU by promoting student representation in pro-life measures at the State Capitol. She also worked with the club by tabling in Free Speech Alley to promote campus dialogue surrounding life issues and by handing out baby clothes and diapers to expecting and parenting students.

Mia interned in Washington, D.C. with Family Research Council in the Center for Human Dignity. She also worked in the Louisiana State Senate for two legislative sessions as a Senate aide.

She lives in Baton Rouge and will work mostly in the Southeast Louisiana area.

“I have always loved and respected the hard work of Louisiana Right to Life as I watched them promote the pro-life movement in local schools and in the State Legislature,” Mia said. “I am beyond awestruck that I am now part of that same incredible team that shaped me into the empowered, pro-life woman I am today.”
