ACTION ALERT: Vote No on HB 164

We need you to contact a group of State Representatives ASAP and ask them to VOTE NO to HB 164!

**Next week, the Louisiana House Criminal Justice Committee will likely consider HB 164, a bill that would weaken our pro-life law by legalizing abortion in cases of rape and incest. It was previously deferred on April 30th.

The law must hold perpetrators accountable for these heinous crimes. At the same time, innocent babies should not be punished for the crimes of others.
HB 164 is dangerous for women and girls because it would allow perpetrators to coerce or force a victim to have an abortion without any accountability for their actions. This happened in Ohio as recently as two years ago. Since the bill has no requirement to report the assault to law enforcement, it creates a loophole that can lead to more abortions.

Here’s how you can take action and make a difference!

Utilizing our system, it will only take you a few moments to email the committee members now!

If you live in the district of one of the committee members, please give their local office a call and ask them to vote no to HB 164. A phone call from a constituent is much more effective than an email! Scroll down to see the list of members and their phone numbers.

**The committee hearing is scheduled will likely be at the State Capitol in House Committee Room 6 on May 7th. Seating will be limited.

Thanks for your support in defending life!
