Louisiana Right to Life’s Advertise for Life project and its “A Difficult Choice” website first launched in 2011 to connect pregnant women with a local pregnancy resource center. This month, a new and improved ADifficultChoice.com went live, making it even easier for women to find the help they need.
The redesigned ADifficultChoice.com puts the zip code search bar front and center, and you simply type in your zip code and the pregnancy center or centers closest to you appear on the screen. While this is the same search methodology used before, the updated, fresher look makes this service the emphasis of the site.
The Advertise for Life project began in 2011 and used several forms of advertising, including billboards and buses, to try and connect abortion-minded women with one of the state’s pregnancy resource centers. More recently the campaign has focused on optimized search engine advertising through Google, and in August we added Pandora advertising to the mix. In just a month that campaign has generated hundreds of new visits to ADifficultChoice.com.
The specialty advertising project is funded the annual Bowties for Babies: A Southern Style Soirée for Life held in the spring in Baton Rouge, and through your generous year-round donations.
