Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the 40 Days for Life Shreveport-Bossier kickoff rally at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, in Memorial Chapel at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Shreveport. You will be inspired by the keynote speaker, Catherine Foster, president of Americans United for Life and a strong advocate for the pro-life movement.
Catherine Glenn Foster
At 18, Catherine found herself with an unplanned pregnancy. She decided to have an abortion and paid the fee, but once on the table for the procedure, she changed her mind. The callous clinic staff disregarded her plea for the procedure to be stopped, however, and her baby was aborted.
The kickoff rally will be held the night before the fall 40 Days for Life campaign begins. 40 Days for Life is a peaceful, prayerful vigil held each fall and spring outside of Shreveport’s abortion facility, Hope Medical Group for Women. The fall vigil dates are Sept. 22 through Oct. 31. You can find out more and sign up to pray outside the abortion facility by clicking here.
