Baby Bags Filled, Ready to Give Away to Area Moms

Each NOLA To-Go bag includes a number of baby supplies, including those shown above.

New Orleans and Louisiana Right to Life will be distributing free baby supplies from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as long as supplies last. Bags will be given away curbside at 200 Robert E. Lee Blvd., in Lakeview.

Volunteers have spent several days this week helping New Orleans Director Sarah Zagorski sort items and fill the NOLA To-Go Baby Bags, which include items like diapers, wipes, formula, baby soap, a stuffed animal, books, and information cards.

The bags are free to area mothers in need who stop by the office during giveaway times. Women won’t have to leave their cars, and there will be no direct contact with giveaway volunteers.
