Louisiana Right to Life is pleased that today the U.S. Senate confirmed attorney Kyle Duncan to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals by a vote of 50-47. We applaud Senators Bill Cassidy and John Kennedy for their favorable votes and for their work to confirm Mr. Duncan.
“Mr. Duncan is an eminently qualified nominee for the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and we look forward to his service on the 5th Circuit,” said Benjamin Clapper, executive director of Louisiana Right to Life. “We are grateful to President Trump and his administration for fulfilling their promise to name judges who respect the proper role of judges in our constitutional system and will not engage in legislating from the bench.”
