Louisiana Youth Headed to D.C. for Geaux Forth, March for Life

Geaux Forth 2018

Louisiana is sending a large contingent of youth to Friday’s March for Life in Washington, D.C., and 1,300 of those young people from around the state will gather with Louisiana Right to Life on Thursday morning for the 2019 Geaux Forth Rally.

Buses of students from Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Houma-Thibodaux, Acadiana, and other areas of the state are en route to Washington, D.C. to stand for life with others from throughout the U.S.

This year’s Geaux Forth Rally at the Warner Theatre will feature the band The Deep Space Network and keynote speaker Melissa Ohden, who will share her inspiring testimony of abortion-survival and adoption. In between rallying music and learning March for Life chants, students will be engaged in presentations on the science and logic of the pro-life position and will receive tips on how to be truly active on their school campuses and in their church communities.

National pro-life organizations will have exhibitor tables at the rally, ready with pro-life gear and ways to get students more involved. These include Students for Life of America, Live Action, the Sisters of Life, Secular Pro-Life, and more.

Be on the lookout in videos and pictures of the March for Life for the giant “Louisiana is Preaux Life” banner, to be carried by Brother Martin High School with Archdiocese of New Orleans.
