Several Love Life Amendment rallies and events are planned around the southern half of Louisiana Friday through Monday.

State Sen. Katrina Jackson, lead author of the Love Life Amendment, will be speaking at the events, which are hosted by Louisiana Right to Life and open to the public. Masks and social distancing are encouraged.

• LAFAYETTE: Love Life Amendment Rally, Friday, Oct. 2, 11 a.m., at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 4131 W. Congress St.

• OPELOUSAS: Love Life Amendment Rally, Friday, Oct. 2, at 6 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 3835 I-49 South Service Road.

• NEW ROADS: Love Life Amendment New Roads Rally, Saturday, Oct. 3, 10 a.m.. The rally will be held at the New Roads City Lot by City Hall and St. Mary’s.

• HOUMA: Bayou Tri-Parish Reception, Saturday, Oct. 3, 4-5 p.m. at The Event Center, 200 Moffet Road.

• METAIRIE: Life Chain and Love Life Rally, Sunday, Oct. 4, 3:30-5 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, across the street from Lakeside Mall.

• MANDEVILLE: Pro-Life Evening in Mandeville, Monday, Oct. 5, 6:30 p.m., at St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 335 Asbury Drive.
