WASHINGTON, D.C. — NARAL, the pro-abortion political and lobbying organization, today announced its endorsement of pro-abortion former vice president Joe Biden, the presumptive Democrat nominee, for president.

“We’ve had awesome and robust conversations with the campaign,” NARAL president Ilyse Hogue told McClatchy. “I think, collectively, we’re clear-eyed about the work that needs to be done.”

In fact, Hogue told McClatchy’s Alex Roarty the endorsement was “full throated.”

“NARAL’s endorsement of Joe Biden is not a surprise,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “Joe Biden has embraced NARAL’s goal of abortion on demand at anytime, anywhere, under any circumstances, and paid for by taxpayers.”

NARAL’s endorsement came more than a month after Biden was endorsed by the political action arm of Planned Parenthood, which praised him for his record of expanding health care for women.

“Joe Biden is the only candidate in this race who will stand up for our health and our rights,” the group’s acting president, Alexis McGill Johnson, said in a statement, noting that President Trump has “attacked access to abortion and reproductive health care” along with “the people that Planned Parenthood health centers serve.”

If elected, Joe Biden would be the abortion president. He has pledged to promote abortion on demand and reverse pro-life laws and policies. If elected, Joe Biden has already promised he would:

-enshrine Roe v. Wade in federal law;-appoint justices who will uphold abortion on demand;-reverse the Trump Administration’s pro-life policies;-reverse President Trump’s Title X rule that prevents pro-abortion groups from promoting or referring for abortions;-promote abortion around the world by reversing the Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance program which prevents federal taxpayer dollars from being used by abortion groups to perform or promote abortion overseas;-abolish the Hyde Amendment which prevents federal tax dollars from being used to pay for abortions except in cases of rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother.

“A Biden presidency would expand the abortion industry by reversing pro-life protective laws and force millions of taxpayers to help fund the abortion industry,” said Tobias. “Women’s lives would be at risk and more children would die if Joe Biden were elected.”
