State Fair Pro-Life Outreach Going Strong!

Felicia Southern and Amy Skinner are among the many volunteers who are spreading the pro-life message at the State Fair.

By Amanda Nottingtham, North Louisiana Director

We are in our second week of the Pro-Life Outreach booth at the State Fair. We have had a great response and been able to share our pro-life message with so many visitors! The fetal model display has caught the attention of passers-by of all ages. As they have stopped to view the babies, our team of volunteers have shared the mission of Louisiana Right to Life and further educated them about how important our work is in protecting the unborn. Since Shreveport is the abortion capital of our state, the outreach booth at the State Fair is essential in our efforts to lower, and ultimately eliminate, the rates of abortion.

A huge debt of gratitude is owed to our many volunteers who have staffed the booth and made this outreach possible. Many people worked at the booth last year and couldn’t wait to sign-up for this year’s event. Last week, a group of local radio hosts volunteered at the booth and then shared their experiences on their program. You can listen to how touched they were at https://www.facebook.com/1273681850/posts/10215435976673952?sfns=mo.

The Fair continues through Nov. 10, and there are still shifts that need volunteers. You can get details and sign-up online at  https://prolifelouisiana.org/statefair.
