Today, our Youth Programs director’s hosted a Pro-Life Summer Fest at our New Orleans headquarters for students in high school and college.

Over 40 students joined to have fun and learn about pro-life activism. A big hit of the night was playing pro-life bingo, eating at the food truck and enjoying cotton candy, snowballs  and more! Summer Fest was planned by Youth Program Director Ashley Gilliam and College Director Harlee Barbier.  The pro-life bingo educated attendees on fetal development, safe haven laws and explained different  pro-life legislation.

Summer Fest, and outreaches like it, in Greater New Orleans are important to show the community that young people have a significant place in our work to protect unborn life and women. To learn more about our Youth Programs or get more involved please contact ashley@prolifelouisiana.org.
