On July 20th, Louisiana Black Advocates for Life (LABAL), under the leadership of State Co-Directors Mike and Tara Wicker, in collaboration with Baton Rouge community partners, hosted the Baton Rouge Baby Supply Distribution at Bethany South Campus. This compassionate initiative aimed to support local families in need by providing essential baby supplies such as diapers, wipes, and formula.
By catering to the specific needs of the families in attendance, the event demonstrated LABAL’s dedication to fostering a community that supports life and ensures that every child gets the best start possible.
The Baton Rouge Baby Supply Distribution was more than just a handout; it was an event that underscored LABAL’s commitment to fostering a culture of life and providing tangible support to families. During the event, families were not only provided with much-needed baby supplies but were also informed of various avenues for additional support and self-empowerment. By offering resources and tools, LABAL and its community partners aimed to help families gain the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive.
Louisiana Black Advocates for Life is steadfast in its mission to protect the dignity of life at all stages. Through their work in education, advocacy, and support, LABAL strives to empower communities and promote a culture that values and respects every human life. Initiatives like the Baby Supply Distribution are a testament to their ongoing efforts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families, reinforcing their dedication to the well-being of the community.
