Abortion Business Trying to Open in New Orleans East

Dr. Rashonda Dean, an abortionist who has been active in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, is trying to open a new abortion facility called “Deanz Health Care for Women” at 5437 Crowder Blvd. in New Orleans East. She has applied to the Louisiana Department of Health for an outpatient abortion facility license.

Louisiana Right to Life estimates that Dr. Dean killed 15,768 unborn babies through abortion from 2012-2017 when she was the main abortionist at two abortion facilities in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

But now she will own and operate Deanz Health Care for Women, and this will clearly be a more lucrative chance for her to make more profit off abortion. LARTL’s research found that “Deanz” will only offer abortions, leaving the facility with one goal: Sell as many abortions as it can.
There are other health clinics in New Orleans East that can offer services to women and families other than abortion. Since Deanz Health Care for Women will only perform abortions, it will not contribute to the betterment of New Orleans East. The facility will only add more violence to the community.
The New Orleans community, and especially New Orleans East and Gentilly, will need to step up and make its voice heard. We can’t let this facility target the women and babies of New Orleans East!
