“I’m Black. I’m Pro-Life. Here’s Why.”

Louisiana Black Advocates for Life is hosting an ongoing Tuesday night video series on its Facebook page (@LABlackAdvocates) at 7 p.m. titled “I’m Black. I’m Pro-Life. Here’s Why.”

The first live video, which aired April 13, featured Dr. Fred Luter, pastor of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church in New Orleans and former president of the Southern Baptist Convention. The series is hosted by Pastor Jonathan Burton, associate director of Louisiana Black Advocates for Life.

Scheduled  through May are:

  • April 20 – Dr. Ray Larry, Pastor of Providence Missionary Baptist Church of Slidell and President of St. Tammany Right to Life
  • April 27 – Dr. Reggie Wilson, founder of Command Your Day & Fulfilling the Gospel Church of Marrero
  • May 4 – Pastor Thomas Gross, former Presbyter of New Orleans section of the Louisiana Assemblies of God and Pastor of Living Faith Christian Fellowship
  • May 11 – Pastor Joshua Dara, professor at Louisiana College and Pastor of Zion Hill Church of Pineville
  • May 13 (Thursday) – Pastor Steve Precciely, Pastor of Grace & Truth Church of God in Christ
  • May 18 – Bishop Dwight Pate, founder of Church Point Ministries
  • May 25 – Pastor Wayne Brown, Bethany Church Executive Pastor and Baker Campus Pastor

Future guests, whose dates have not yet been determined, include Tara Wicker, former Baton Rouge Councilwoman and CEO of W Consulting Group; Louisiana Senator Katrina JAckson of Monroe; and Pastor Tristen Smith, founder of Echo Church in New Orleans.
