New Orleans – Today marks the one year anniversary of the reversal of Roe v. Wade in the historic Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization Supreme Court Case.

Sarah Zagorski, Communications Director for Louisiana Right to Life, said: “We celebrate the momentous victory for life that occurred one year ago today on June 24, 2022. We are thankful that approximately 7,012 babies have been legally protected from abortion and that all three Louisiana abortion facilities have closed their doors. Louisiana is now a much safer place for moms and babies.

She added, “Louisiana Right to Life will continue to help mothers, protect life, and support adoption across Louisiana. Through education and service, we also will continue promoting the work of pregnancy resource centers and resources like FindHelpLa.com.”
