After the Supreme Court released its monumental decision yesterday, we called on Louisiana to enforce the pro-life laws we have worked so hard to pass. Thankfully, the Louisiana Department of Health issued letters shortly after to all abortion facilities informing them that our laws are now in effect.
Yesterday, abortion businesses in New Orleans and Baton Rouge shut their doors. The Shreveport abortion business says they have stopped performing abortions.
Babies are being protected in Louisiana as we speak!
The Shreveport abortion facility stated they are considering their legal options, but because we passed the Love Life Amendment in 2020, we don’t imagine their “options” will go very far. We are thankful our Attorney General Jeff Landry has committed to vigorously defending our pro-life laws. We must remain vigilant.
