Abby Johnson Among Keynote Speakers
The fourth annual Pro-Life Women’s Conference, a three-day event put on by women for women, is coming to the New Orleans area in less than a month! The conference, billed as “When Women Lead,” will be held June 21-23 at the Pontchartrain Civic and Convention Center in Kenner. Registration is $114 until June 16, when the price goes up. Student registration is $75.
At the conference you will hear things such as fresh perspectives on pro-life feminism, non-profit planning, reproductive issues and fertility, pregnancy loss, sidewalk counseling, adoption and post-abortive healing. Click to view schedule.
Abby Johnson, whose first book Unplanned was released as a movie earlier this year, will be among the keynote speakers. Her organization, And Then There Were None, and the Alice Paul Group are hosting the conference. Other keynote speakers include Michele Sterlace-Accorsi, executive director of Feminists Choosing Life of New York; Heather Burner, executive director of the National Safe Haven Alliance; and Sister John Mary with Sisters of Life.
