Cenla Marches for Life!

The cenla March for life 2023 was an incredible opportunity for pro life leaders, youth and the central Louisiana community to show up in support of life. There was an estimated 500 in attendance on the chilly Saturday morning, February 4th.

Groups, churches, and individuals gathered at Louisiana Christian University at 10 AM to begin the march.
The CENLA Pulse Team, which is a group of pro-life students and youth aged 14 to 25, led the march and engaged the crowd in chants as they marched down Main Street in Pineville.
After marching, the crowd gathered together for a time of post-Roe encouragement, worship and an opportunity to hear what Louisiana Right To Life programs offers to the central Louisiana community. Tara Wicker, Louisiana Black Advocates For Life Director, emceed the event and shared the importance of pro-life voices in a post-Roe Louisiana.
Joining her on stage, Abby Rose Nichols, Cenla Youth Director, and Ashley Gilliam, Southeast Youth programs Director, encouraged youth to get involved in the pro-life movement.
